This test concentrates on publicly available network resources such as company websites, E-commerce applications and Email servers. It exposes the vulnerabilities of the edge architecture helping the organization recognize the weaknesses in its access controls and documented security policies. Issues can be remediated before they are exploited avoiding costly downtime or the loss of sensitive information.

What we don’t deliver is hundreds of pages of raw output from automated security vulnerability assessment scanning tools such as NMAP or Nessus.  This is accomplished with a service that is both a penetration test and a security vulnerability assessment.  We focus on those external systems and services that expose you to network compromise.  Our security vulnerability assessment includes a detailed analysis of your routers, firewalls, email systems and dial-up modems to find vulnerabilities that matter.  In this way, we can give you an effective plan to make you more secure now and in the future.

Assessment Vault’s engineers follow its own custom testing methodology adjusted to the client's needs and the type of test to be conducted.  At the end of the test a report is generated outlining individual vulnerabilities discovered, as well as the successfully exploited attack vectors sorted by severity.  Detailed remediation suggestions are also provided for each of the vulnerabilities found.
